Based at Youngs Siding, just 30 km west of Albany Western Australia, Coastal Transport Engineering specialises in building custom Australian made transport equipment for the Agricultural, Road haulage and Earthmoving industries, to suit all harsh Australian environments;

Coastal Transport Engineering’s advanced designs such as our -Platinum Series- Side Tippers & End Tippers help our clients stay in front of their competition. Using “AutoCAD” and “Solidworks” design software we are constantly improving our designs and manufacturing practices and use the latest machines to build our products, including our in house CNC Plasma cutting machine. This machine ensures all parts that go into our trailers are precise, thus giving clients finished products the best quality on the market. All of our products include a two year structural warranty, full service check and wheel alignment. Coastal Transport Engineering bowls are constructed from Hardox 450 steel to guarantee maximum durability & strength. At Coastal Transport Engineering we take great pride in our products, We spend the extra time to finish our trailers and our attention to detail is second to none.
In January 2018, Coastal Transport Engineering commenced operation in its New Fabrication Facility.
This new purpose built 1500 m2 workshop incorporates 5 dedicated Welding and Fabrication Bays. Pressing and Tooling Bays, 9 meter CNC Plazma Cutting Bay and a New Fully Sealed Spray Painting Booth (imported from Italy).
A new 5 Tonne DEMAG overhead Gantry Crane running full length of Workshop enhances materials movement efficiencies.
The fully equipped Fit Out Section including a comprehensive Parts Room, enables in house Hydraulic, Electrical and Pneumatic installations.
A separate shed facilitates Sandblasting and Preparation for Painting.
This “all in one” establishment gives us control over the complete build process and provides efficient, quality production of all of Coastal Transport Engineering’s products.
